The Milton Theatre is proud to present enormously entertaining stage productions of the highest quality produced by the Milton Theatre Co. The Theatre also partners with other arts organizations and individual artists and showcases their programs, and is dedicated to promoting the arts and making the arts more accessible to the community.

Big Apple Burlesque
July 18 & 19 at 8:00 p.m. and July 20 at 2:00 p.m.

A collaborative collection of neo-vaudevillian performing artists, dancers, singers and musicians who have been presenting their own material in NYC for the last five years. They have performed everywhere from Times Square, Manhattan to Bushwick, Brooklyn in front of sold out audiences and occasionally warm reviews. Come support the Milton Theatre's One Act entry "Best of Friends" written by Tommye Staley of Milford, starring Bonnie Ward of Lincoln and Doug Friend of Lewes. 05/24/2008 - Horse Shoe Crab Festival

  • 10:00AM – 4:00PM The Milton Theatre will have a booth displaying information about the theatre in Milton Park.
  • 4:00PM & 6:30PM. The Storm of ’62 will be shown in the Milton Theatre.
  • At 5: 15 p.m. between the movie showings is a concert by Crabmeat Thompson.

Charge of $5.00 at the door.

Sunday 5/25

  • 10:00AM – 4:00PM A Day on the Broadkill River, Quest will be providing paddleboats and canoes at the Milton Park for rental.
  • 6:00 p.m. - Delaware Comedy Theatre will perform under the tent in Milton Park.

If rain, the Delaware Comedy Theatre will move into the Milton Theatre, 110 Union Street.

By Popular demand the movie "The Lantern" will be returning to the Milton Theatre. Screenings of "The Lantern" will be at 1, 4, 7, 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. "The Lantern", is an original movie produced/directed by Gustave Rehnstrom a native of Ellendale, Del. "The Lantern" emerged from a ghost story that Gustave heard as a child that told of a local train station that was haunted by the ghosts of victims from a long-ago railroad accident. Tickets will be $10 per person. No reservations! All tickets will be sold at the door.
